HEAD OF QUALITY ASSURANCE (f/m/d)

Behind our technological solutions stands an interdisciplinary team of specialists committed to precision, responsibility, and continuous improvement. Operating within a regulated high-technology environment, we combine innovative strength with structured quality processes and long-term collaboration.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Technical and disciplinary leadership of a team currently consisting of 8 employees in the areas of documentation and metrology
  • Training and professional development of team members
  • Responsibility for metrology, inspection planning, incoming goods inspection, as well as in-process and final inspections
  • Ensuring compliant quality documentation in accordance with customer requirements and aerospace standards (e.g., ECSS, EN 9100)
  • Further development and optimization of inspection processes, measurement strategies, and documentation standards
  • Responsibility for inspection equipment management, including calibration processes
  • Close collaboration with Production, Engineering, and Product Assurance departments
  • Administrative leadership and further qualification of non-destructive testing (NDT) personnel in the following areas:
    • Visual inspection
    • Eddy current testing
    • Ultrasonic testing
  • Responsibility for the control of non-conforming products, including:
    • Deviation management
    • Support of root cause analyses
    • Definition and follow-up of corrective actions

 

YOUR PROFILE

 

  • Completed technical education (technical college, university of applied sciences, university degree, or equivalent) in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, materials science, or a comparable field
  • Several years of professional experience in quality assurance within a regulated industrial environment, ideally in the aerospace industry
  • Strong expertise in metrology, inspection methods, and inspection equipment management
  • Experience with quality standards such as EN 9100 and ISO 9001; ECSS knowledge is an advantage
  • Leadership experience combined with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style with a high level of personal responsibility
  • Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
  • Experience with CAQ systems (e.g., Babtec) is an advantage

Based on your education, qualifications, and professional experience, we offer an attractive, market-compliant starting salary from EUR 56,000.00 gross per year on a full-time basis. The actual remuneration will be determined in accordance with your individual educational background and relevant work experience.
